— what about overage?
Honest about what costs more.
Most of you won't go over. If you do, here's what extra usage costs and how we tell you before you hit it.
£0.10 / min
For context: most beauty studios use 300-500 mins/month. Plumbers around 600-900. Wedding suppliers in season 800-1,200. You'll see the projected month-end use on your dashboard from day 5, so no surprises.
£200 one-off
Use your own voice for the AI · 30-second sample, 1-2 day turnaround. Optional. Most customers stick with the shortlist of UK voices included.
£15 / number / mo
If you run multiple lines (e.g. branch offices, separate booking lines) you can add additional UK numbers at £15/month each.
— common questions.
The money stuff, plainly.
What counts as a voice minute?
Inbound and outbound call duration combined, measured by Twilio. Hold time, voicemail playback, and the AI's speaking time all count. Average customer uses 200-400 minutes/month, well below the 1,500 included. Most never see overage.
Can a busy month cost me a fortune?
No. You can set a monthly overage cap (e.g. "stop at £50 over"). At the cap, voice answering switches to take-a-message mode for the rest of the month. You'll never get a surprise £500 bill.
What if I cancel?
Cancel anytime in your dashboard or by emailing felix@workhand.co.uk. Service runs to end of paid period. Data exported on request, deleted permanently 30 days after. No early termination fees. No “are you sure?” interception.
Is that price inclusive of VAT?
Currently exclusive — Workhand isn't VAT-registered yet. You won't be charged VAT on top. If/when we register, the price stays the same inclusive of VAT (we'll absorb the change for existing customers, not pass it through).

The 30-min call with Felix is still there if you want a walkthrough — but most customers do the wizard themselves. Either path lands you in the same place.
